Description
Group of falconry accessories consisting of pouch, glove, lure, and three hoods. Said to have belonged to King James VI and I who left it at Wroxton Abbey, Oxfordshire, the home of Sir William Pope after his visit on 23 August 1619. Includes a hood that belonged to a Tudor monarch, possibly Queen Elizabeth I. Part of the Burrell Collection.
